2005 for the first time the workshop was accredited and certified by the Medical Association Koblenz and currently it is accredited with 40 points!

Dr. Vasant Lad, our featured speaker, is a world-renowned expert in Ayurvedic Medicine practice and theory. Born in the birthplace of Ayurveda itself, he has practiced Ayurveda in Pune, India and around the world for the past twenty years.

He is author of numerous books, including "Self-healing in Ayurveda", "The Ayurveda Book of Healing", "The Ayurveda Plant Medical Science"; and he frequently holds seminars and workshops all over the world.

Dr. Lad currently is Director of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he has been lecturing on Ayurveda for more than twenty years.

In summer 2008 Dr. Lad will again offer a Summer Intensive Program for Eurpeans in Germany, in response to the increased demand from European doctors and ayurvedic therapists. The Seminar will be held in English.

The "Summer Intensive" takes place in a very beautiful green surrounding at a volcanic lake, it accommodates two restaurants, a rose garden, a summerterrace, a beer and wine lounge and a wellness centre. Nearby there is a monastery, an abbey church, a book and art shop. The hotel is situated at the Brohltal Volcano Park by Maria Laach in the Ahrweiler health-region.
