PANCHAKARMA

Panchakarma consists of two words. Panca and Karma. Panca means five and Karma represents the method of treatment or application. Thus Panchakarma consists of Vamana (emesis) and Virecana (lustration), Vasti (enema), Nasya (medication for the nasal passage), and Raktamokshana (purgation of blood).

What is Panchakarma?

Top priority of the ayurvedic health care system is the remedial action of the body´s, minds, and soul´s equilibrium, relative to innateness, individual physical and mental constitution.

Panchakarma is a several millenniums old ayurvedic concept of therapy that serves to restore exactly that individual equilibrium. It means that through Panchakarma a "rejuvenation" occurs, liberating the body of toxic blockages that are accumulated within various body tissues. The treatments serve the purpose, to strengthen the body´s immune system and to induce radical and permanent regeneration. This clears the space to enjoy more zest for life, vigor, and productivity.
